Thanks buddy. I've often thought about lead poisoning. I keep all my bullets in cases or in cans with covers on them. I've never been tested for heavy metals. Who knows. Lol

I thought it was a couple knapsack hook's tangled together at first look.
It 's actually the Brass hook's or piece that would have been embedded in the Solider / lead back-side of a Oval Belt Buckle ,(most likely a US one , from that site ) but It could have been off a confederate buckle 'If they had Brass Hooks'

I'm assuming the hooks are Brass.

That's a good amount of drops for these days , the Star Base are Sweet & Am I correct in thinking the US Marked cavity is a High $ Bullet ? I know you don't sell & that's Cool IMO.
I do wonder how the Face of that buckle is looking these days ?
I hope you can find it to let us know.
