We went back to our new permission that Vino acquired for us to hunt, I'm so glad he let me do this with him. I had allot of fun finding some cool fun finds. It's been a very long day for me and I just got done cleaning and taking pix of all my finds. I forgot my camera to take pix of Vino's finds. Hopefully he will have time to post some pix. He found a 1837 Coronet Cent and a 1889 Shield Nickel.
I found a wide variety of finds, Braided Hair Cent, 1851, two Buffalo nickels--one no date, other a 1926, two Indian cents, a 18-? and a no date. Two Washington silver Quarters 1950, and 1935. An engagement ring---925 setting with a topaz stone, dog licences, and a key fob from a Phila Bank. On one side it says, Southwestern National Bank--Phila., Pa. other side it says, If keys are found return address on other side, a old Pepsi bottle, and a couple wheats, 1944, and 1942
Hope you all enjoy the pix, HH
Brad and George

Great finds there. The shield wasn't minted in 1889. Must be a different date on that one. Congrats!

Update on ring

I went to my local jeweler and had him check out the ring I found, he told me it is a synthetic stone for March birthstone set in a nice silver band. He told me it is called a "foil stone" if you look in the pix you can see a gold color mount on the bottom of the stone to , as he said, "help it shine". He cleaned it for me for 4 bucks.
Here are the cleaned up ring pix.

.....and you've got yourself a simple and beautiful little ring!

Nice Haul! You guys killed it!

My sweetheart took procession of that one, she loves it. It turned out to be her birthstone and fits her perfect. Thanks old Dude, I can't wait to get back there, today or tomorrow I think.

Thanks everyone else too for your comments.

Beautiful finds T.H.! :occasion14:
Love the verdigris on the 1851 LC!

The silver ring definitely has some age to it as well.
Dave

Thanks,I pulled out of the oil bath the two Indians, the one that I could not get a date must have been covered with some gunk that the oil loosen up. Clear as day, 1874 the other one where I could only see 18 looks like it might loosen up,I think the third number might be 6. I hate when I can't get a date
