I found a couple odd looking nickels...

The first one has gold coloration to it and somebody took a drill to it. Not sure what happened to the second one...

It might be my eyes but it looks as if there are jewels in that first coin, at least in a couple of the holes!

The holes seem to be filled with some sort of multifaceted glass-type thing. They don't extend beyond the surface of the nickel though. They seem to point inwards, into each hole. The ones that aren't sparkling seem to have these glass things broken. The first, second and fourth hole from the top only have about half of the glass still in the holes. The third hole from the top has no glass left in it. Definitely odd.
