🔎 UNIDENTIFIED I found a stanley 99E knife about 4-5 inches deep. I think it’s 1950s although I know only a little about knives any help with ID?

It say's made in usa on the back instead of blank like the newer ones i saw online.

The 99E are still USA made.
Popular utility cutter.
Not sure on it being 70 years old though. The older ones had a more of a inner curve towards the blade.

I’m not sure either I can’t find any pics online of the older ones on google. The font on the logo looks a bit older to me but I don’t know for sure lol.

The amount of zinc decay is minimal, so it hasn't been buried for that amount of time.

Yep ! Looks Serviceable Yet , May need dirt Cleaned out & a New Blade at Most
