I found "LOVE" at the beach this afternoon; some silver, and a barnacled bottle

Hi,

This morning Hank, Jacky and I took a ride to the shore to reconnoiter the various beaches.

Most of the roads were open, but still many trees down across roads.

Saw trucks from Kansas and Louisana helping with the clean up ...thank you very much for your help.

Later this afternoon, hunted for 3 hrs...hoping to detect on low tide muddy flats, but too bad....the sand from the beach had been pushed out to the ocean , and there were no "flats"

Coins were found in packed dry sand "bare bones" areas.

The rings and barnacled bottle ( I think it is old) were found at shoreline muddy area.

Nice finds Lorraine. I am up in Myrtle Beach right now and so far all I have found is sand and more sand

That looks like a very old bottle, I'd post it on the bottle forum for more help, those guys know there stuff

The bottle looks like a lightning stopper soda or beer.
Turn of the century if it's hand blown.
Nice finds.

I think so , too, Keyshunter; the park to the left is full of old coins also. I hunt that grassy area during the Fall.

That's "Amore"! (Italian for Love). And I think that stone is likely real as well. Do have it checked out by a gemologist. Too small to be a typical CZ in my opinion.
