FOOTPRINTS!!! Dang I should of laid out yesterday, 12 miles down river and 12 miles back up on both sides,everywhere footprints. This is what HE missed. The slate piece is part of an incised gorget, on the left are Xs, on right are lines.

No matter how efficient the searcher or how thorough the methods.....nobody EVER finds them all.

I dare say you could walk back over your ground again and find more after yourself as well. Its almost magic how they appear before your eyes.

Thats right, just like metal detecting you never find it all. I'm tempted to go back and see what I missed today but ithink I'll wait for a rain. their calling for rain Tue- Wed, sure will be a long wait.

Still a good hunt!

Someone snuck up in our field once and all i found was footprints... and 4 nice bird points!
Muwahaha! they can't get them all!

Did you check in the water? You ever try using a 5 gallon bucket with plexiglas bottom to search underwater?

I was known as Creekwalker as I use to walk creeks and streams every weekend searching for artifacts in Missouri. Found a LOT of them.
