Which one do I chose? Eight religious pendants today. Only two silver. Too bad the star of David is broken. Anyone know what the things on it are? The middle looks like a scroll.

As for the coins. Two Barber dimes, Three mercs. a Roosevelt and a Washington quarter. A silver pin and two silver rings. Two wheat's and a buffalo, looks dateless, one Canadian king George.

Beautiful day out there today. Glad I hit a small area I didn't find before. The one swim tag looks pretty old. Might be my oldest yet. I do have one with raised letters also. I wish I knew when they were made.

Really enjoyed the peace today. Lots on my mind and I was able to escape life.

Unbelievable Day. I need to learn how to scuba dive. The scrolls are more than likely the Torah. The first five books of the Bible. Can I say, Jesus thats cool? whaaaaaaa haha

Amazing all those locker keys you find and belt buckles.Wgats up with all those people in those days wearing religious pendants. If I was around then and all the girls buckles were falling off all the time, I don't think I could wear a religious pendant lol What ever happened with that anchor thing you were trying to identify last year???

I found it again last year. I found a few more this year so far. No anchors, Looks like they held down a HUGE dock that was patrolled by the Detroit police. That is why all the Detroit Police buttons also. Not too hard to figure all the locker tags. From 1909 - 1963 the beach house pictured had over 3000 women and 3000 men's lockers. So lets say even 4 thousand people a day during the summer for 54 years. That is a ton of people. The waders have hammered the shallows for years and years. Where I am diving, it might have been hit before it was made illegal but it also might be virgin ground.

Remember, no TV, video games or air conditioners. People actually got out to swim to beat the heat. When more of this muck moves away, you can bet I will be bring home a lot more treasure.

As my username implies, SCUBA. I am in 8' of water. Snorkeling and going up and down, up and down is way too tiring and would be completely impossible here.

Liking the date tag, your getting into some old. Nice selection of finds again, congrats.
There's one thing about this hobby is when I start swinging the coil all life's issues melt away for the duration of the hunt.

I bet you have quite the collection of religious medallions! They are always fun to find! Great hunt!

Another nice outing Scuba.

Man O Man Scuba, to think that at one time I lived on E. Grand Blvd in Detroit just down from Belle Isle, before I ever even heard of "Metal Detecting".

Nice finds Scuba! Looks like you found some of the silver that was hiding the other day. Nice to see you are hitting that old bath house spot, wondered if you would be getting back there soon. Looks like prime hunting location and if not much going on, should be fairly quiet for a good peaceful days hunt. Enjoy the quiet and the treasures!

you got quite a haul there, you were quite the busy man in the water to be finding that many keepers

Fantastic day hunting, so many goodies! :notworthy:

Very nice haul! Especially the coins-nice variety. Glad you were able to enjoy the day

Nice haul of goodies! Congrats!

You sure know how to find the older goodies!
Glad you found some peace of mind. I detect for that reason too, but on dry land. .....at lest the fish don't ask you what you are doing, and what have you found.
