I found this odd looking small bowl thing ???

Im not sure if this isnt maybe a spoon part that has been hammered out or something .It measures 2 inches by inch and a half .Im not sure what its made of .

Well, we need some addtional info. Will a magnet stick to it? Does it have any markings on it at all? Where did you get it? What is the history of the site? Do you think it is metal or stone?
