That's what I call my detector, "AT".
Anyway, today I took him over to the place where I dug
the bottles last time. I just let him tell me where a good concentration
of metal was, (figuring a main dump), then I started scraping the layers away.
Did ok and actually enjoyed the change of pace:

If you'll notice, this piece has some initials
scratched into it, "RH". Ya know, this is one
return I would absolutely LOVE to be able to do!

Anyone good at reading gibberish?

Probably a hunting/fishing license. But, it
was buried so long the only thing left is the
ink that stained the plastic.

It's ALWAYS a thrill for me when something like
this comes uncovered! Like a surprise package
at Christmas, ya know?
I saved the "reveal" to share with you guys.
I did look for bills, No silver/gold certificates.
But, there was still the coin pouch! LOL

Alas....nope....just dirt.

This looks like the one that Hunter101 found
just recently. But, this one says SUMPTER S.C.
on the bottom. Probably the one the guard was
drinking when they fired on Fort Sumter.

Even found this fine example of a tank's wheel
cover! My GOODNESS! Those things were big back then! LOL

Ya know? Unless I'm mistaken, I do believe
that Fishy is trying to get a suntan!

Thanks for peeking folks. Weather permitting,
I should be back to my more usual, line of clad quarters
next time.
Thanks for your kind visit.
