This relic looks familiar, but I can't figure it out. It's 2 1/8" long and brass with a swivel on the top with two holes in the swivel and one on the top. It's eye shaped with a large hole in the middle. There's a hole in the bottom where a rod may have entered. Also two small holes where the screws probably went to hold the two halves together. Found it at an old school, so it could be anything! Any clue?

Yup, Matt got it! And I'll bet the bottom had a watch key attached to it. Going to have to go back and try to find the other half! Thanks, guys!

IMO, it's pretty big for a watch winder.
