Good luck!! I sold about 500 of the buggers a few months back. Amazing how little value most of them have. I did stash back a few of the really crazy ones.
if we get an EMP they will be valuable

I remember being with my dad going up to the hardware store with a handful of tubes from our b&w TV and putting them in the tube tester to figure out which one was bad. I believe old nos tubes have value to vintage radio collectors

Every once in a while, I'll see a bunch of those old vacuum tubes at antique stores, and most of them are still in the original boxes. I have a few old radios from the 30's to the 50's, and so far, the tubes have held their own :)

we want you tu build a "tube" metal detector !!!!:headbang:

That tube caddy is a nice find. It would have been used by a technician that serviced tube TVs and radios at homes and businesses. There are some triode vacuum tubes that the audiophiles covet and will pay dearly for. You might want to cross reference the tube numbers you have with some of the audiophile websites. I'm saving a couple of shoe boxes of 12AU7 and 12AT7 tubes in my retirement fund.
