Found 454 grams of sterling silver in a quick trip to the TS before going home tonight. It's Mexican silver with an unknown mark to me of LYS. I can find a few examples online with this makers mark, but they don't add any info on who made them. Good chunk of silver for $7.04. The tray isn't marked at all, but it definitely goes with this jug.

Very nice!
It is nice. Not a real elaborate piece of silversmiting, but nicely made of heavier gauge sterling sheet. The base is possibly casted as it appears its a standard part made to attach to other works.
