Found this along the riverbank near Linville Falls, NC while hiking down the Plunge Basin Trail. It appears that it came downstream. The paper is a standard 8.5 x 11 inch size. I left it there, so I can't provide any better pics than what I have.

In the second picture there is a knee. Beyond that you got me stumped.

Looks like the top bonnet to a buggy or old car. The part circled is what was bolted down to the Chassis.

I agree with secretcanyon and thinks he is right on with this one!! Certainly appears to be his call!! He was also right on the fact that no one has recliners in NC!! He He!! GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!

gosh guys...no one has a recliner chair in their home????
that is the mechanism for reclining...the wooden chair and upholstery is gone.

That's it!!

I couldn't make heads or tails of it but as soon as I read your guess I knew you nailed it.
