Found this at an old baseball field. It’s made of steel 5” Long. Looks like a clothes pin. 283416A1-46FA-46CC-8DDD-DCAD59FD96DE.webpD839D51B-43D6-4FF4-B04C-58F2419DF58E.webpAny idea what it might have been used for?
 

possibly a clip to keep the scorebook from flipping pages in the wind.

The old baseball basis had heavy straps to tie them down and these clips were used to clip the tail ends under the base once installed.
