I've been sidelined for awhile because it has been just too darn hot and my knee has been giving me some problems. I couldn't take not detecting any longer so I popped a Aleve and headed out early this morning to beat the heat. After I got warmed up and sweating like crazy my knee finally loosened up some.

I hit few different sites but the last one produced the most. It was a mid-fifties home with a really steep sloping front yard. I ended the day with 4 silver Rosie dimes, 9 wheat pennies and few clad coins. I sure can't wait until Fall gets here and brings us some cooler temperatures.

Great day detecting tabman, love the silver. Glad the knee agreed to let you get outside...

Glad you got out congrats on some nice finds

I feel ya on not detecting....it's been a few weeks for me as well.
Just ain't got it in me lately....my weekends I've hibernated in the a/c, watching sports in my underwear.
Wife wanted to know why I've always got a hand in my shorts...told her because her hand ISNT there.:dontknow:

It has been so oppressively hot here as well, that there's no point in digging the dirt. The water has been where it's at here for a while. Supposed to cool down this week to the mid to lower 80's - thank heavens, this has been just too much for an old fart. I expect August to be hot as well, always is. There's dirt I'll want to dig in.

Nice finds tabman, what happened to the Mojave?

HH,
Cal

Quadruplets! That's the way to do it. Glad to hear your knee was behaving itself!

Oh sweet Jesus nice finds.

Glad to see you posting again I always like your posts you do very well on silver coins.. Thanks and hope your knee feels better soon!!!!!

Very nice silver count

Been weeks here as well. Looks like some thunderstorms are coming my way on Friday with temps dropping to the low 80's for the weekend. CAN'T WAIT!

4 silvers ! That had to make your knee feel a little bit better! Congrats. HH

I was posting so many finds of gold and silver using the Mojave that it was pissing off a few people so much who were using the more expensive detectors that they didn't want me mentioning the MOJAVE in my finds posts anymore. I guess they were a little embarrassed that a little ole $251.10 dollar detector could do so much. Heck, I was even falsely accused of being a Mojave dealer. LOL

Congratualtions on the multiple silvers and wheat cents! :occasion14:

Looks like a worth while hunt. I like checking out your posts, you seem to almost always find silver.

old farts have to take it easy in the heat, it can do a number on us in a hurry. I never have been fond of Gator Aid but it looks like it is on the menu now. I am officially a full member in the Grunt and Groan Club. Already been a member of the Aleeve & Aspercream Club for several years. glad that you were able to make that detector work for you

I am content to sit here in my AC drinking cold suntea and see what others are willing to sweat it out for on T-net. You done very well in that yard my friend. It can cool down and dehumidify any time now.:icon_thumright:
