Thank you for the very kind words fellas.
When I decided to do form Gold Rush Guys, I knew starting out that we weren't going to be the biggest prospecting supply or metal detecting company. We knew we faced stiff competition from the internet and ebay. So our goal was to carry what we think are the best product, for a fair price and simply deliver on what we say we will. We charge people actual shipping, or else we ship the best possible way for what we charge. When we order products, we keep the packaging peanuts to hold our costs down. We try and give people reliable customer service. One of my biggest gripes, is when someone tells me they will ship Tuesday, and a week or two goes by and you still don't have it!
I think I read this in a Chinese restaurant once: "The sour taste of poor service will out last the sweetness of a cheap price."
There's a well known prospecting company on ebay selling Jobe classifiers for $10ea, but they charge $39 shipping! I get asked why I don't sell my Jobe classifiers for $10. I have to explain that I don't charge $39 to ship one!
Wingmaster, I'm truly sorry that you had such a bad experience with Buckabilly. I bought a used one about a year and a half ago from a friend of mine. Before I ever thought about forming Gold Rush Guys. It's delivers every time out. I let my freinds borrow it whenever they want and they call it "money". (It's one of the reasons we decided to be a Buckabilly dealer.)
Here's one of their cleanups:
My dealings with the folks have always been great. If you ever want a Buckabilly sluice, come see us. I'm not going to offer to buy any silver, Gold maybe. LOL
I don't like to be jerked around and if it's not right, we will do everything in our power to make it right. (I'm proud that I have over 3400 feedback on ebay and I'm at 100%. That carries over to our business.)
Good Hunting! Go out and get some of the "Yellar" stuff. Brian (Charlotte49er @ Gold Rush Guys)
And if you see Tom Massie, tell him I said "hey".
