I hunted 3 different locations today, two were new places I'd had never hunted before. The first place was a tiny park high on top of a hill in a residential area of the city. I was able to thoroughly hunt it all in about 2 hours. Total coins dug out were 28. A silver dime and 2 wheat cents were the highlights.

Spot number 2 was a strip of dirt and weeds next to a small park that produced 25 coins, one was a wheatie. I worked it for about one and a half hours going through it 3 times. ...It was disappointing...:icon_scratch:...It should have had some silver, it was old. It probably dated back to the 1930's

Location number 3 was a baseball field. A silver ring and 4 wheaties woild be the best items dug. .....That 56 Rosie I dug in the morning saved my day!

Nice finds. The ring is nice and probably weighs as much as the rosie. I hate the aluminum screw caps too. I have to dig them even though my iron audio pops and scratches...I am just afraid of missing something good. Congrats on the two silvers.

I have to say I am most impressed with your trash removal on this hunt. Well done my friend. I was beginning to think this sight was nothing but, a bunch of cherry pickers.:icon_salut:

Great job, as always! :icon_thumleft:

P.S. I know everyone calls them Potato bugs, but it's actually a Jerusalem cricket.

very interesting finds, a lot of trash was dug too in that time period. congrats for the finds and hard work

Interesting, ive always heard them called "child of the earth" bugs.

Wow! Great finds! I thought i had a haul of trash today, but you win.

Nice job as usual. Man I hate those bugs, creeep me out. Lots of them here in valley.

Good, long hunt. Nice pics. And congrats on the silver rosie, silver ring and wheaties. 7up.:toothy4:
