go to historic map works,select massachusetts, monson 1870. On the northern border there is a road that runs parallel to the quabog river, now called fenton road. There was a spur off that road that had a bridge at its apex, the bridge head is still there. To the immediate right of that was a s&g mill. Be sure that you are in the right place, as there are more than one bridge head in that area. I've checked this site out a few times before, and I can tell you its a very trashy area; I'm pretty sure it burnt down. Bring a small coil and a can of bug repellent. Good hunting! p.s.- no fences here.
