I read in the newspaper today (9/4) that belchertown is planning an addition to its library (built 1887) to triple its size. This addition will be added to the rear of the existing building, and would be a good opportunity to check the area once it is graded and excavated. They are having a party today, it would be a chance to talk to whoever is in charge to ask permission. Good luck!
