✅ SOLVED I know I have a ring. But I don't know its origin or unable to tell how much gold?

What I have pictured here is a find from a storage unit that I purchased. That is pretty much all I can tell you about it.

It looks like solid gold but I know nothing about markings. I tried to get the best pictures and post them but all I can see is a K and two other marks that I can't make out. There is the head of soldier or emperor maybe. The head is embossed in a black Onyx (maybe).

Any info is appreciated. One thing I don't understand is usually on all the other rings I see has a number in front of the K. Exam 14K 10K or so on.

The two that I've owned in the past were both 10k. It's likely from the 1930's or so, that's when these seem to have been most popular.

I agree. you could take it to a pawn shop and have them acid test it to be sure, but I'd bet on it being 10k. The Roman soldier motif was most popular in the 30's and 40's
