I know I'm doing something stupid ....

First off I am a complete newbie to this machine. I come from the Minelab & Whites world. Ok so I'm messing with saving a program in slot # 11. This program is a modified Fast program.

11KHZ
Iron Vol. 0
Reactivity 2
Audio Re. 4
Notch 98-99
Disc. 6

With these settings I have no audio at all when I pass something in front of the coil. My thought is that have notch set up incorrect? Another note. When i switch between factory programs I hear a click on the coil. Switch to this one in slot 11 and nothing. Like it isn't recognizing the new ones I create?

I don't think your program will affect the audio. Does the detector sound off in the factory programs? I would check and make sure the HP module (if you have one) is programed to the coil and the volume is up. Also make sure the remote is program with the coil.

Sounds like you have the notch set up wrong..
Check and see if you really have 1-99 notched out? Ive seen people do that by mistake before..

Audio is fine in all other factory presets. Maiden voyage today using "Deus fast" program today and got an LC and a Merc.

Vino I think it has to be the Notch. Will look at the manual again. Traded an Etrac for the Deus the other day.

I'll ask a dumb question...you say you pass "something" in front of the coil.....what is that something? If it's iron it will not sound off (iron audio off, Disc 6). I think the click you hear is when the frequency changes between the programs, so if program 10 runs the same frequency as your custom / slot 11 program, no click will be heard.

Got it sorted out. I had the notch set up incorrectly.
