I Like Big Bling And I Cannot Lie...All You Other Brothers Can't Deny...
I was "Les Miserables" today. Cold, fog, rain, thunder, (hiding from the ) lightning, angry dogs stalking me, every stitch of clothing soaked. But your intrepid scribe had a Saturday to dig and doggone it, he's gonna dig! I detected a heavily producing schoolyard for a while, but kept getting chased off by lighting and Cujo sneaking up behind me. I gathered a good handful of clad, another aluminum kid's ring, a kid's earring, and a matchbox car. Feeling "ripped off," I headed home and took a little sidetrack in a small town nearby. I went to the elementary school there, as it usually gives up something, and it wasn't raining!
I did not expect this...out of a small side lawn near the playground, I got a banging 92 on the ATPro VDI, and looked down to see a "Wee bit'o gold" peeking out of the lawn. The rain had started again, of course, and the water was now flowing over the gold object. I gently freed it from its dirty-watery grave and at first, thought it was a small bracelet! Oh no, it was a beautiful replica 2006 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Championship ring!
This beast is, as Mr. Trump would say, "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!" It weighs in at 45.1 grams, and has all of its CZ stones, plating, and enamel intact! The raised lettering and artwork are plated in rose gold. Probably not worth much but to me, it has the "very cool" factor and saved an otherwise gloomy day. Thanks for looking, Happy Hunting to all and have a safe New Years holiday. Sub
