Just wanted to see if maybe some of you could help me.
I lost / or it got stolen my H.S. class ring 20+ years ago.
It was in gold, my birthstone (March) centered on top and the H.S. was F.H.S. (Fernley High School) class of 1990
I don't remember if my initials or name was on it or not. but my initials are D.S.T.
Our mascot was a vaquero (Cowboy on a bucking horse) and I believe I also had a basketball on the ring.
My grandfather bought me this ring as a gift and would love to have it back.
I have NO idea where it would be but figured I could give this a shot.
I checked a few of the pawn shops way back then and was told that they see so many class rings go in and out of there that the records they kept at the time probably wouldn't help me at all.
Just a shot in the dark and a huge Thank you in advance!

D

I hope you find it, best of luck!

I'd put an ad in the Lost and Found section on Craig's List in the town where it was lost. Offer a reward greater than melt value and a photo if possible.

Was it a town in Nevada? Never been there just trying to narrow it down a few 100 class rings that members find.

Thank you for the advice all.
@ Fletch....yes, I would assume it would have been somewhere here in Nv. but not positive.

Thank you again!

Come to think of it I haven't seen my class ring since 88' when I gradiated! Lol

Come on Fletch, graduating kindergarten doesn't count! :laughing7:

My 1960 class ring went through the hammer mill when grinding corn for the cows. It was not in very good shape when it came out. I have seen claims one can have one made, but I sure don't know how, nor feel strongly enough to bother.

Thank goodness that your finger wasn't in that ring when it went through the mill! Keep on 'tecting'....
