I love dimes, this weeks 12 boxes and 1 hr dirt fishing :)

Hi all, havent posted finds in awhile as they have slowed down alot lately. Halves have been horrible, dimes have picked up this week finally.

Wed I went dirt fishing for an hr in the morning, nice to get out with the AT pro and was lucky and scored 2 mercs, a 1918s and 1920 and a 1958d wheaty.

Wednesdays 4 string boxes:
9-silver rosies: 47, 52, 54d, 58d, 60d, 64dx2, 64 proof and 63 proof
12- clad proofs: 69s, 70s x4, 71s, 73s x5, 83s
The last box had all the proofs, I'd only found 3 in 15k searched this year, so this will fill some holes in the dansco.

Thursdays 8 Loomis boxes:

2-mercs: 1945s, 1940
20-silver rosies: 46, 48 x2, 48d, 48s, 53d, 57, 57d, 58d x2, 59d, 62d, 63d, 64, 64d x5
Very happy with the spread and mix of dates and mint marks in this group.

2 day silver dime total: 4 mercs and 29 silver rosies. 33 silver dimes =2.39 oz and $80.93 not bad for $3.10

that's a nice score on the dimes. I've been thinking about maybe doing some dime boxes again myself. I got a '68S dime from 5 cwr's I got a couple of weeks ago. Maybe I'll get a box for the weekend. I'd sure love to have the kind of success you did.

I usually avg 1 dime per box, halves have dropped off the face of the earth the last 2 months.... Dimes keep my addiction leveled out. Wish the my halves would stop going to the east coast and into cards n coins and db23's banks...
