I Love Reading these posts!!

I should tell you Bill that your column indirectly led me to this forum. It's the main reason I subscribe to Coin World but I wanted more great stories, plus I was looking for a message board equivalent to my other passion, movies. I stumbled across this site after googling "coin roll searching" and the rest is history.

I am certainly glad I stumbled on coin roll hunting as well. It's too bad gas is so high though, sure would love to take some long trips and do some checking. Oh well, my bank doesn't have so many locations, so even with gas low I would probably lose on other banks fees ...etc.

Still its certainly fun. I am doing much better roll hunting that MDing at the moment. Love em both though.

I call it "Armchair Treasure Hunting". You only have to go to the banks, and take your boxes or rolls home and sort through them in the comfort of your very own chair. With a beer. lol.

What a great & easy way to find valuable stuff!

Might I suggest a cup of coffee instead of the beer. After awhile all the coins would start looking like doubled dies:-)

I couldn't agree more - really a shocking amount of both silver and error coins...

PS... I'm looking forward to reading your column for the first time. Just started my subscription to CW.
