I love the "Big Band Sound," So I Went Diggin' At The School Yard Again!
And I was not disappointed...I went back to the school yard softball field that produced that weird, pretty "gold" ring with the big white stone earlier this week.
This evening, I found a pretty nice honker between the pitcher's mound and second base. A big (my wedding ring fits inside of it!) solid gold wedding band marked, "14K TW." It weighs in at 10.1 grams and is in very nice shape. It rang in at 75 (one cent again!) VDI on the ATPro, so keep diggin' those pennies...
Also found an unmarked sterling braided wire child's ring, a small pendant marked, "Sterling," and two other kiddie rings, along with two earrings, a key, some Turkish coins
, buttons, and $4.60 in clad. A great little three hour hunt. This is my fourth confirmed solid gold ring in 30 days, all from school yards. I am beyond happy!
Thanks for looking, Happy Hunting to all. Sub
