I have been thinking about using my phantom 4 to look at aerial views for potential sites. The video and camera are so clear plus with a 3.5 mile range it can cover more distance than me. It is amazing how well it can pinpoint areas. From opening in the woods to being able to follow river and creek streams. I may take mine out soon and do a video of the river out in front of me.

That Inspire costs several thousand dollars. I would suggest using the Phantom 4 drone, which is far cheaper, and has obstacle avoidance.
