I NEED HELP

I am heading to Vein Mountain for the GPAA outing in May. I am trying to fnd a motel or hotel that is by there. I do not know the town or city that is close by. So if anyone that has been there or lives close by could give me a name or number of one I would realy appreciate it. Or if someone can give me the name of the closest town there I can do a yahoo search. I need to get this done ASP so I have my reservations. Thanks....Matt

I would check out Marion. (don't know how far you want to drive), I don't know if there is anything in Rutherfordton.

I agree, Marion is your best bet. Decent size town with everything you will need including a Wal-Mart.
Linville Caverns and Linville Falls is up the road north a bit from Marion too if you want to do some other activities.
