Hi, I'm 24 years old and I've only been on one date in my life, and that was when I was 19! Maybe I am too shy or something, as I prefer metal detecting and baseball cards over chasing girls. Give your nerdy friend some advice before I ruin this rare opportunity for me :roll:

Congratulations! At least you have a date. I'm 22 going on 23 and it's been a long time for me as well. Longer than it has for you actually. The last time I had a true date was when I was 16. Seems like ladies around my age these days don't like a guy who metal detects, restores old radios, works on cars, and is an engineer (all of which describe me).

As for ruining the opportunity, don't worry about it. If anything is meant to happen, it will. Never change who you are for someone else.

congrats buddy,

the only advice i have is make the date about her. Girls want guys to be interested in them. they love it when you ask them questions.(dont get to personal, just friendly questions). In turn she will want to know about you.

If you've made it this far, and still have a pulse, she has potential. If she actually answered the questions in the proper context, she's a perfect match.
