I really just want to know if anyone has any ideas on what this might be.

For some reason it reminds me of a Christmas tree decoration. Good luck!

lol. It's glass with the etched design in it. And the stuff you see around it is silver. It's a pendant. Sorry. Not a good picture.

It looks like a Christmas angel that had too much of the punch!

RSV at the bottom.
Looks like Mercury blowing bubbles !
also leaning on a pillar same pillar on back of Mercury Dime.

I think it is a mercury glass pendant, like this one---thYAZ77T5M merc.webp

very cool item
is it carved?
Is the image carved on the back
Or is the image encased?
Need to see the back
What's the history on this nice piece

I think I found it. The design is etched onto the back of the glass . It is not encased. Sterling silver design around it with what looks like marcasite?

I believe the image is Cupid blowing bubbles.
Bubbles can represent the shortness of life and the abruptness of death.

As bubbles are fragile and short-lived and they go off suddenly into nothing.
Thus, to represent the uncertainty of life and suddenness of death, bubbles are the perfect example.
