The snow melted so I ran down to the Neosho River, Kansas. River was over the gravel bar I wanted to pick, so I hunted the muddy bank above it. Found freshly sloughed burned sandstone- always a good sign. IMG950166.webp

Then in a spot that had a recent gravel dump over the bank, I found this blade! Tough to spot.IMG950167.webp

Included in the last photo are a couple of recent points from same spot. Used to find those bifurcated stemmed points there often, years ago. not so much any more- eroded out of that zone I guess?20210103_133349.webp

I’ve only got part of a bifurcated point but I suspect Jackie, yours could be too

Thanks, OTB. A couple of those points on that site certainly look like mine. The only variation is that some of mine had bases wider than the blade but still in the bifurcated category.

Nice haul gravel, really like the base on the unfortunate heartbreaker bottom picture.
