A good friend is a master jeweler here in KC. This morning we tried several different pieces of gold.
I was kind of disappointed on how well the unit signaled when the different pieces of gold were ran across the coil.
14k repair bench stock signaled a 4, but it was not very sensitive and on many passes it did not read the gold. It did not read a platinum engagement ring at all.
So what am I needing to change on sensitivity to make it signal jewelery better?
