Hi all new to the forum. I was out fishing today and saw these rocks. One caught my eye. There were flakes around it like the second one that are razor sharp. The one that looks like it had some formation to it was the one that caught my eye. I almost left it put but I kept looking at it.

I'd say both are artifacts. Debitage left over from knapping. The bottom one looks freshly chipped. The bottom one looks like KY or So.IN flint. Gary

I was fishing a stream creek just below an old cave shelter. Its part of a small park. The cave is really an over hang. The smaller chip is so sharp I had to really be careful of it.

I'd say the first two are knives, I don't know if the 3rd one is anything in particular, and the 4th one may be a scraper.

They look Native American to me. Try posting them in the North American Indian Artifacts forum. Those guys will help you out in a flash.

I think there are only two pieces pictured-a front and back view for each.

Thanks. I can see that now. In that case, I think the first one (2 photos) are knives and the second one may be a scraper.
