As most of you know I haven’t been finding much this year and probably won’t top my pendant for a year maker. This creek is still spitting out some good chert pieces. I haven’t found much of nothing there in the last 2 years but this year has proven the theory of never give up. My finds today were.
Nice Blade worked on both sides
A chipped tool scraper type
And last would of been a nice point missing the tip. Got to take them as you find them.

Don't you feel bad. I have been looking for arrowheads all my life and never found one. Granted I was always looking for other things like fossils and metal detecting, but you think at least once in my life I would have stumbled across one. I have found thousands of fossils, my GF moves to Texas with me and within a month she finds a small point. Think I'm cursed.

This one time I was looking for fossils and arrowheads in a river with some friends of mine, they found two arrowheads just sitting on the pebbles that day, I looked all over, sifted too, found nothing but boring shark's teeth 😄

Those are great finds! Since Helene flooded my creek I can't go down my usual spot because the path is broken off, a tree fell on another path, tons of overgrowth, it's a mess. The upstream section has gravel and culvert fill on top of it so even that isn't accessible now. Hoping the flood washed some stuff down in my old spots but haven't been able to access it yet either. So frustrating.

Lots of new fallen trees in the creek. Very scary going under them. Big trees
