Hi :hello:,

It hit 30* mid-day with lots of wind; my choice was watching the Honda Classic on Golf Channel:icon_scratch:or metal detecting at low tide;now, I ask you...which would you have chosen ???:laughing7:

So off to the beach again hunting low tide "muddy flats" . Got 2 hrs. of exercise and after

finding oh, so many pennies I finally dug up a heavily tarnished ring about 8 inches down in

thick , cold mud...I loved every minute of it:icon_thumright:

Here's some pics

Thanks for looking Lorraine

p.s found the Russian coin yesterday; I am including a pic of it in this post.

Russians have a sign to throw money in water: fountain, lake, ocean, sea. We throw coins into the sea, leaving a place which was pleasant. You want to return once again here? - throw a coin in water.
At Russians there are a lot of signs with coins.
Students put before examinations under the left heel of 5 kopeks.
When bake pieroghi that to put a coin in 1 pierogh "For luck". Who will get pierogh with a coin to that happiness and good luck will be
I this year found coins on the Black Sea a little.
Pinpointer Garret placed in 3 condoms, wound with an insulating tape and floated with him along the coast.

Yeah, MiamiFox..this thread was long gone, but someone recently replied to it, so now it's back up; it's old news so it should die down soon.

how to clean silver?

Silver can be cleaned lemon acid. Crystals or juice of a lemon. Crystals should be diluted with water 1gramm to 100 ml of water.
Or to put a ring between lemon segments at some o'clock. Then to wash water.
For gloss giving to silver I polish with a pencil eraser.

aluminum foil, soda and boiled water. Important: Rings have to lie on a foil.
2-3 minutes are also ready.
