Found this today. It's marked sterling and maybe a maker mark on it. I like to get a idea how old it is & what it could be.

I'm trying Red-Coat but my abilities of taking a sharp up close picture are not to good.Your picture of the mark is very small. Digitally enlarging it doesn't help very much. Could we have a closer, sharp picture please?

What I meant is I don't know how to make adjustments to my camera to get a better sharp close up. I need to look more into how to change pixels and settings on my camera.I understand, but your pictures are too small. Can you not change your camera or phone settings to get a larger image, as well as getting as close as you can? The actual mark is barely 80 pixels wide in your latest picture, so any attempt to zoom in or enhance doesn't provide any detail:
