This is probably a long shot but can anyone ID this item. Found in a camp site in Catlett, Va. It was found in a small area that also produced a belt tip, ammo, coat button etc. Thanks

It is a broken of hanger portion of a hat hook. The end portion you have was an acorn motif finishing off the tip.

Thanks a lot. I thought it looked kind of like a crown of some sort, but the acorn makes sense. Thx again.
