The thought just occurred to me if you have ID NORM "NO" some of the Deus pre-set programs are not going to work properly unless they are 18KHz. Of course I keep it "NO" because I switch to a lower frequency to check bottle caps. But I realize now I have been running some of the Deus programs and for sure the tone breaks are not right. Just thought I would mention this...so I remember. LOL

Yep, its the down side of running ID norm off, you have to set custom tone breaks up for different coil frequencies so I just set up the same base program but with different frequencies and tone breaks and just use the plus/minus buttons to switch between them. I primarily use pitch vice tone ID, though so ID norm is not an issue for that. I also don't sweat getting the tone breaks perfect for the tone ID programs, three tones works fine. ID Norm is also not an issue for full tones, but I don't use that much anymore.

Pre-set programs 1Basic, 5G-Maxx, 6Deep all need to have the ID NORM "YES".
