What does the inscription close to the hilt on the blade say ?? ... can we get a pic of that ?, maybe that could give us a clue

the inscription on the blade looks as if it was made with either a grinder or dremel tool.

Mate i can see something written on the photo knifelenght.jpg .. it is under the 1 and 2 on your measuring tape .... looks like engraving of some kind

i had a friend who had some swords that had handles and blades that were shaped the same as this one. he picked them up in malaysia or there abouts. i think the handle design is a "blossom". i have a set of headhunter weapons from over there. the axe and the spear. kinda cool.

It reminds me of the Arabian Nights! Cool movie and music! Or Sin bad ..Maybe it was signed by the maker or it is an actors signiture?from some Arabian type movie?I can see them running through the desert with white outfits and just their eyes can be seen becuase their face is covered riding on thier Arabian horses..Cool Ha and the music in the backround! So cool!Belly dancing type Arab music! Love it!
