🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Pocket Knife?

It is not cleaning well. Going get to some vinegar for it.
Not sure if it’s a butter knife or pocket knife. Yellow brass color is starting to show after scrubbing on it. Was next to a home that was in my 1895 plat book.

Never seen a folding butter knife. Would assume pocket knife or straight razor.

Assuming the long slot in one side was to hold a blade. My guess.

Never gave it a thought of it being a straight razor.
I threw in butter knife because I’ve never seen a folding knife with a solid brass handle before. Thanks for the suggestion’s.
