Hello fellow treasure hunters I am the Relic Redeemer from Western Mass this is my very first forum discussion. I found this about 8"deep with my Equinox 600 (great machine) and need help identifying this item. It is very thin! The back is toast. Hope to hear any ideas, thanks.

Welcome to Tnet! I would guess the front of a two piece button, but, there are others here with ideas better than mine.

Welcome to the forums. Please post a picture of the back. What is or isn't there can help the experts here correctly ID your find.

Welcome.:hello:

The button is 1750-80. Dandy Button.

The design is not a match but closely resembles Prince of Wales Feathers. Whatever the design it's civilian not Military.
