Found 5" down
buried long enough so assumed magnets rusted away
No markings on back
7 7/8" long
Only cleaned with toothpaste and warm water
33.8 grams
Feels and clinks like nickel
Any tricks in identifying would be will appreciated

Lead, nickel, pot metal, an alloy? Hard to tell. Precious metals would be marked as such. Are the stones glued on or bezel set?

If it's not marked anywhere, it's probably costume jewelry but I would use an acid test kit in it to be sure.

Even though each stone looks like they're in their separate hole, not split and glued on. Under an 8 times magnifier there seems to be some type of adhesive or coating over stones.
