IE version issue

The forum appears to be asking me to upgrade from IE 10 to IE 9...

Is there a way for me to turn off those annoying notices? How about the banner and all the other stuff at the top of the page? I'm not a fan of scrolling down just to get to the start of the forums.

You can just ignore, I'm still using 8 and I never get that notice, maybe it is security issue between your PC and site.

Firefox will help but don't think it get past banner at top it is part of forum format...
