AG any more King Georges ?

2 KGVI out of the entire lot there nothing older then 1940

I remember what Canadian Guy once said that there are far more American cents in Canada, than Canadian cents in America. This is true, at least in my area. I once got almost 15% of box being US cent coins. So that's about 8 US cent coins per roll. However, I'm not complaining :)

By the way, that's how I get those wheat cents ;D

true that, i bet they're more commonly accepted in canada. but I feel like michigan. maine and other northern border states see canadians alot. while the southern belt rarely sees them

I went to that TD bank today, and the teller asked why i always have so many coins - I gave him the standard "oh i'm just a coin collector" answer, and he said "yeah. we get a lot of collectors in here - there was a guy that always buys pennies and he said he found some really old canadian penny that's worth like a thousand dollars or something."
Moral of the story: You're a legend at that bank.
Speaking of that canadian cent - is there an update regarding the possible dot? Or is that top secret?

Living over 1,000 miles from the border, I have a near- complete set of canadian pennies from 1950-2011 and 2 KGV cents all from CRH.

hahhaha cassie may have spilled the beans at the bank.

It's is easily accessile, BUT only for those who intentionally search for CRH in a search engine. There are still many people, who have no clue about CRH whatsoever.

No one told me about CRH, I stumbled on it via a google search about "Cheap Silver"

Don't talk about CRH!

Canadians are good if you have the copper ones. If anything the pre-1980 ones are worth just as much or close to a wheat since you can sell them for more on Feebay. I have a couple rolls of pre-1980 Canadians cents and they are heavier than the copper Lincoln cents. There are no laws against melting foreign coins since foreign copper is good. The Canadians coppers are 98% copper. If you have a lot, you can sell on Feebay or probably just sell as scrap metal. I would personally sort out the different dates based on copper composition for those years. They are 98% copper but some of the latter years up to 1996 have less metal as the rims are shaved. The pre-1980 ones have the most copper by far. Go to coinflation for Canadian coins and you'll find the years by which to sort them by.

Still can't believe that you haven't moved on you dot cent. If real, you could just have the funds and can start doing large quantities of halves if you want.
