I will be going to Mexico, to try my Garrett CXIII w/ a Two Box set-up. I hope to find Gold bars or Gold coins on my Great Grand Fathers land, in 1980 when a road was dug though the property 2 gold bars the size of fingers were found by workers useing a grader to make the gravel road., their are also storys of millitary arms being hid on that land.
I will be going on a long shot , and it is also about haveing fun whether or not I find anything worth alot.
The other thing I being told that if you find it in Mexico, get it hide the hole and get out...

Will I need to declare it to US Customs And could I have it taken away if I declare it??
thanks

It was reported that Marcos only got to keep what he declared to customs when he entered the US seeking asylum. A few bags of jewelry, gold cert., and cash. the 14 or so large trunks of diamonds, cash, etc. which arrived after him and were not declared, were confiscated. You may want to call a customs office before you go, or check on line.
