If is wasn't for the Great Dane....

I wouldn't have found this 14KP 6.1g square ring. So the story goes I was sound asleep at 3:10am when the Great Dane barks once, most likely in her sleep, wakes the German Shepherd who, if you know shepherds, is ready to hunt down the intruder.....only to quickly fall back asleep upon discovering it's a false alarm. The Great Dane, however, had a much more devious plan in mind. While I make a quick trip to the restroom, she parks her fat behind in my spot on the bed. Crap, do I run the risk of waking the wife tossing the 130lb dog out of the bed or do I drag my Excal to the car and hit the beach?? I think most of you would have made the same (correct) decision like I did. With the harvest moon it was like hunting in daylight....
