Welcome to tnet also

Welcome. I have used it and topo maps also. My main weapon for sites is the cat's intuition. While reconnoitering a colonial ghost town, I told my digging buddy there should be a house (pointing) on that hilltop. He went about 150' off the road, didn't find anything and returned down the rise to where we had found a couple KGIII copper coins. I walked 50' off the road, in the same direction and nailed the house! Nothing like the first person to find a 200 year old house no one on earth now knew existed. Three colonial coppers, four CW eagle I buttons and 5 buttons in the first half hour! What a blast!

A Big Welcome to You to the Tnet forum from Georgia. Thanks for the post.
