Yesterday’s finds at a 1700s home but finds are all more recent than that it seems except maybe the iron hinge.

The owner shared an experience of seeing the floating presence of a 13 year old girl in the home for a few years. They found a shoe in the chimney and the dog ate it and she hasn’t been seen since. I hadn’t heard of concealed shoes until this visit.

Love your finds. That is an oddly lead piece for sure. That large iron hinge is the same style I find at the 1830s era forts that I hunt. Congratulations!
