Bags of Iks

I am new to coinn hunting and I read somewhere that you can order bags of Iks at banks. Is theis true, and if so do all banks order them?

There still a stocked denomination at the Federal Reserve,the problem is getting a bank to order said coin.

You will have to put forth the effort to find out which bank will order bags of Ikes. None of mine will. Good luck.

If I did find a bank, what would I look for? Or is there nothing special in Ikes?

There are 40% ikes with the 'S' mintmark, and type varieties, but what you really should hope to see are Peace and Morgan dollars.

Very hard to find, good luck with this one. I can find single coins once in a while, but not bags.

none of the banks i have been to will order these, it's just luck of the draw on whether people bring them in for cash

I managed to get a couple bags of Ikes from a bank, the manager did a lot of leg work to get them. The bags were both from brinks. In all $2000 I pulled one 40% silver Ike.
