First shot: overview of three flint items found in North Central Illinois. (My impression is that this field has been picked over for lithic for generations now). The upper two are debit age, the bottom one. . . well, I don't know.

Help is welcome.

It is rounded, scoop like flint. Sharp edges. Could be debit age. Perhaps a scraper? Not certain, doesn't look like the edges are individually chipped.

These second and third and fourth shots show this perhaps-scraper a bit closer.

Finally, just another look at debit age.

Looks like typical IL glacial flint nodules that have been tested or used. Glacial flint comes in small pieces, is tough generally and often cracked and flawed. Many times it's better for making flake tools than making points. Gary
